The Semi-Supervillains release anti-war anthem: War Machine
The Semi-Supervillains are fresh off their 2024 East Coast tour, electrifying audiences at popular venues like NYC's Pianos, Cleveland’s Music Box, and Nashville’s Vinyl Lounge, growing their devoted cult following through power pop 70s sensibilities with hypersonic rock songs full of rattle and clang. Inaugurating the New Year with an atomic banger, their first single of 2025, "War Machine" written on the eve of the U.S. presidential election, is lead singer Vinnie Longhi's howling anti-war lamentation against the creeping global proliferation of fear and loathing.
The music video released in accompaniment to "War Machine" is vintage footage of actual 1950s atomic bomb testing, harkening back to when humanity first kicked off their Doomsday Countdown.
